End of the summer/beginning of fall sunroom plant tour 2019

Posted on November 1, 2019June 13, 2022 by Michelle

One of the best things about moving into this house is the 3 season sunroom that is attached to the back of the house. I now have a protected place that I can put much of my plants during the summer. This sunroom does get very hot during the summer since it is facing south. Unfortunately, it is not heated so I can’t leave all of my plants out there in the winter but since it is south facing, it can get up to the high 80’s there during sunny winter days. Unfortunately, the sun doesn’t come out much during the winter in Columbus, Ohio so the room remains chilly during a large part of the winter. The sunroom is very dated and ugly at this point so this winter I am going to paint and put up some shelves to try and update it as much as I can. I would love to replace all of the windows because they are old but it is not in the budget at the moment so that will have to wait. I have put out 2 parts to my sunroom plant tour so far and I have linked the videos below. I have included some pics of the plants in the sunroom this summer and the videos are at the bottom below the pictures.
